Open from dawn until dusk!
Fun and adventure await you and your best friend at the three-acre Pets & People Dog Park. The park is conveniently located two blocks south of Historic Highway 66 and easily accessible by I-40 at 701 Inla. The park welcomes visitors from all over the United States as well as locally, from all over the OKC metro and our Yukon residents. A setting of lush grass and beautiful tall shade trees makes every visit a chance to reconnect with nature as you watch the various birds and play in our large dog area or the separate small dog area. Water bowls and park benches are available and the large pond makes for a fun time for the dogs. Bring a towel!

Our park is a little over 3 acres. It is totally fenced with 5 foot chain link fencing. There is a double gated entry area for safety. Dogs over 6 months old must be spayed or neutered. All dogs must be current on vaccinations and should be wearing their tags or owners have their tags with them.
The park is open from dawn to dusk, seven days a week.
It is very expensive for us to maintain this “free” park, so all donations are gleefully accepted at our shelter.
Help Improve and Maintain the Dog Park
Our Dog park, the first in Oklahoma, consists of 3 acres of wide-open, fun romping grassland and pond. It is a completely fenced, dog-loving, carnival of fun. Your dog can run free without a leash. Funds for the land were generously donated but now we need landscaping and other amenities. Everyone loves it, but it takes money to maintain and improve it.
Memorialize a loved one by sponsoring a dog run or cat habitat
You can donate in memory of a beloved fur baby, or a loved one that deeply cared for their loyal dog friend. We will make certain that these donations are specifically given to the dog park fund. A memorial plaque will be added to our Pets & People Memorial in the dog park.
